Introduction to The Orchard
•We are a residential setting that provides long and short- term-support for up to 3 children aged 8-17, of any gender.
•We support a range of conditions most notably ASC, Sensory processing issues, Learning difficulties and associated emotional difficulties and challenging behaviour.
•The home is part of the My3 portfolio of homes, school and therapeutic services and is set within a semi-rural area of St Helens, which is within the larger Merseyside region.
•It has great potential as a place where children can thrive.
The Orchard Ethos
'Our ethos is to be more than just a ‘residential setting.’ The Orchard aims to be a ‘home from home’ for the children and young people living her. We have created a space where our children can grow and develop safely, feeling loved, being encouraged and enabled to feel free to fully express themselves as individuals – with their own unique needs, characteristics and ambitions. The home will have infinite aspirations for all of our children and young people and for those who work alongside and support them. We believe that no goal is too big and that all children and young people regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, social status and ability, deserve to have equal access to opportunities'.
"The home is lovely, it has everything that children and young people could need and has great potential for the young people who will be living here." Merseyside police |
"The home really is a true representation of My3's vision and values and it is lovely to hear about it and then see it in person." Consultant |
